Portland Youth Dance Company, originally named Upbeat Feet Dance Company, is a pre-professional youth dance company comprised of serious young dancers from the community at large. The Portland Youth Dance Company is composed of:

– Hip Hop Crew: Intermediate and advanced hip hop dancers aged 12-18

– Company: Intermediate and advanced dancers aged 12-18

– PYD 2: Beginner and Intermediate dancers aged 10-18

Open auditions for Portland Youth Dance are held each spring for the following scholastic year for dancers between the ages of 10 and 18. Members of PYD are given superior technical instruction, outstanding and diverse choreography, numerous performance and travel opportunities, and direct involvement with our community programs.
