Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, PYD has reached thousands of children through our community class programs offered in a variety of accessible settings throughout Greater Portland.

We know the community program is making a real difference because many dancers from the program have received scholarships for formal dance training, gone on to dance in Portland Youth Dance, pursued college degrees in dance or performing arts, and built professional careers in dance.  Many PYD graduates have also created community dance programs at their universities or in the communities in which they live.
