Portland Youth Dance hires choreographers throughout their season, which runs from, September to June.  We encourage choreographers of all experience levels and styles to submit a letter of interest, including a work sample, to Kate Marchessault, kate@portlandyouthdance.com.  

PYD is a non-competitive dance company for dancers 10-18 years, with a strong focus on cultivating community, fostering respectful relationships, and mentoring dancers to be leaders in the community.  Our dance process focuses on offering diverse dance styles and experiences, educational opportunities, creating opportunities for student choreography, and providing high-quality choreography that supports the dancers’ growth.
